05 Feb What not to cook for GOUT
the food I have been making, seems to exacerbate gout.
It is so interesting though,
What you shouldn’t eat for GOUT
Some types of fihs – so the TUNA sandwiches are OUT
Some types of seafood — such as anchovies, shellfish, sardines and tuna — are higher in purines than are other types.
So lamb, PORK and beef are out (or limited)
Avoid meats such as liver, kidney and sweetbreads, which have high purine levels and contribute to high blood levels of uric acid.
Red meat. Limit serving sizes of beef, lamb and pork.
