29 Oct having fun and forging a cbf meal – pesto salmon and garlic greatTT
I am SO HUNGRY nowwww, , , (as I should be), given that it is 10 PM and I haven’t eaten anything since a snack I had around 3 pm ((perhaps)).
In any case, ,, the order of MY DAY is a cbf number, , , because I had to coax myself into eating, when I really didn’t want to. And so it is one of those CBF (couldn’t be **arsed)) kinds of meals, , , and I am hungry now, . . . strangely, as with food as life, , , if you make a start, , , things can get moving and everything gets easier. . .
My dinner is: :
GARLIC BREAD (which I just checked, because it has been in the oven for 18 minutes, , , and it is no where NEAR crispy , , , ), , , and so, , , it will crisp up a bit over the next 7 minutes, perhaps, , , AND a pesto, , , atlanic salmon bake. . . it just small chunks of salmon tail, , , with some asparagus, mushrooms, and broccoli, , , tossed in pesto and olive oil, ., . .
should be enough to get me to sleep, , , I hopeYYAA
I do have ONE BONE TO PICK!! *haha**
How much BUTTER do restaurants put on their GARLIC BREAD when they make it?
I used a small pat of butter and a clove of minced garlic, it barely coated two halves of a Turkish roll. . . (although it WAS TASTY when it was cooked). . . I get the feeling that restaurants DOUSE their bread in butter, , , and what is the GOOD of thattt?
And then??
Dinner was quite nice. . .
The first few mouthfuls of the pesto salmon were a bit underwhelming, , ,because I don’t think salmon is designed to be COOKED that way, but once I got into it and with all the pesto veggies, it wasn’t bad. . . AND IT WAS A MEAL, , , (after all!)
🙂
